Lancashire County Council have commissioned Design Force Associates, a Preston based design consultancy, to update the local authority's web presence.

Design Force opted to pursue documentary style photography of real local people, in real life situations, for each page.

"This approach has gone down well with both client and users" said Force director Simon Brindle, who added that the images used by the site were: “unmistakably authentic" reflected the personality of Lancashire people.
