The University of Stirling is seeking a supplier for student recruitment and marketing online and print materials.
The University has issued a tender to appoint a ‘multi-service’ design and creative agency for its student recruitment and marketing materials which will provide print and online solutions to meet the University’s recruitment, marketing and related communications strategies.
All projects will adhere to the University’s Visual Identity Guidelines in representing the Stirling brand.
The appointment will include work on the University’s Undergraduate Prospectus, Postgraduate Prospectus, Study Abroad Prospectus and the Mini Prospectus over an initial two year period which may be extended by another two years.
The deadline for receipts of requests to participate has been set for 26 February, with invitations to tender to be dispatched on 15 March.
The contract will begin on 26 May.

Hopefully they'll whittle the 500+ expressions of interest down to a reasonable number for the actual tender process.
On your marks, get set, go!
Since when did the drum become 'electronic tenders daily'? If you are going to report on business opportunities find an angle rather than simply regurgitating the OJEC notice.

Thanks for the advice. I thought the angle could be that Stirling University was tendering for a creative agency. But I'll now spend the next hour getting quotes from procurement...so that you can find out that Stirling University is tendering for a creative agency.
No bother.
Nice retort Steven!

Just a general observation, no need to throw the toys out of the pram. Recently you've featured alot of tender opportunities which I figure most of us already pick up through one of the tender websites a couple of days before they appear here. Quite happy for you to mention them but I figured the drum might add a little more detail such as who held the account before, why they are tendering etc. over an above the general advertisement. That way they feel less like old news.

Don't worry, I understood what you were looking for and I'll keep it in mind, although I really do run these stories to highlight the tender taking place more than anything else. I've had good feedback on it so far and thought it was something that The Drum hadn't done before.

Fair comment Stephen and, given the climate, they're worth while stories. Why not run them as a seperate section on home page? That way they're given emphasis for those looking for leads but kept seperate from the more general industry news?

I already have - there's a tender section on the homepage where you can also select news by industry. It's above the main story next to News.
If there's anything else we should try and cover to help the industry tell us. We'll do our best to!

Ahem. These posts cheer me up and make my otherwise shitty day feel somewhat fun again. Hurrah!
I'd rather remove my spine with a toothpick than tender for this. That said, at least they are not creating a roster of 25 agencies to fight over a pittance.
