Early Google Tablet pictures appear online 
Pictures of the Google Tablet have begun to appear online following Apple’s launch of the iPad.
The photos of the tablet have appeared on the Chromium OS website, with the company rumoured to be working on the project.
The pictures are likely to be early designs for the device which is also expected to feature touch screen and Android technology.

Now that's a beauty, but is it me or does Google's Tablet and Apple's iPad look about as sturdy as the glass in my grandad's greenhouse. I can see there's going to be some dodgy insurance claims going in for these things.
Still don't truly understand what is so exciting and different about these units.
Give me a truly portable and eminently flexible replacement for my MacBook Pro and I'll bite your hand off. Otherwise, stop trying to sell us something you think we don't know we need yet. We don't need them.

What am I supposed to do with these? If I want to browse the internet I'll use my laptop, - which isn't any more expensive and doesn't require me to hold it with one hand infront of me. Pointless technology.
