J.R. Holland Food Services has launched a live video feed on its website to allow its customers to see behind the scenes at the company.

The Gateshead business which services private companies, restaurants and local authorities in the region has added the live feed to view its packing process in a bid to strengthen its customer relationships and encourage more people to eat fresh produce through its open approach.

Newcastle’s Infinite Design was involved in adding the feed to the company’s site.
Dennis Hutchinson, managing director of J.R. Holland Food Services, explained: “We are very confident in the standard and quality of our produce and our service, our live feed is a way of allowing our customers to see aspects of our business which they would not normally have the chance to - so that they can see for themselves how we operate and how high our standards are.

“We want our customers to be confident that their produce is coming from approved suppliers, that it is handled correctly and that it arrives in peak condition. We have also included the names of all our suppliers on our website so that our customers know exactly where our produce comes from.”
