Manchester agency Mi has released a preview of its forthcoming music video for The Chemists - which features a guest appearance from Richard E Grant.

Distiller, the band's record label, commissioned the visual effects and animation studio to create the video for upcoming single 'This City' and has decided to release a preview to "whet fans' appetites".

Ian Hogg, creative director at Mi, said: "Obviously we didn’t want to give too much away before the video was actually released, but hopefully it gives a flavour of what to expect.

“The atmospheric voiceover is actually Richard E Grant speaking the opening lyrics of the song, which is also the opening tune on the album. There is also a little sneak preview of a robot, but we’re not going to say much about that yet - guess that’s why they call it a teaser".

The video will be launched with the single in the spring.
