Propaganda has created the brand for new hair styling business Neäl & Wølf.
The Leeds agency says it was briefed by by Neil Capstick, founder of hair care distributor Salon Promotions, following its work in the hair industry with ghd and recently Cloud Nine.
Propaganda created the brand after a six-month research programme that found "a significant gap in the market for products that offered not just functionality, but affordability and luxury".
The results led to the creation of the brand philosophy, 'Indulgence Redefined', which has been applied to a 10-piece range of retail products sold in salons.
Laura Kynaston, joint managing director at Propaganda, said: "Without the initial understanding of what the market was missing, we would not have been able to spot the imperative gap that the brand fits so perfectly into."
Propaganda advised on all elements of the brand's creation, including the design of its packaging, website and sales collateral.
A PR campaign to promote the brand has now begun across trade and consumer media, and social media, and it will be backed by an ad campaign launched to the trade over the next month.
Propaganda is a member of the Marketing Industry Network.

I'm not convinced 'Indulgence Redefined' is a philosophy.
Sure the guys will do a great job though.

Why do you lot immediately trash anything that comes out of this outfit?
Propaganda did a great job creatively on GHD totally redefining a sector that is populated by lame wanky imagery and brainless wallpaper in the guise of 'advertising' that is totally lacking in any kind of brand distinction.
I'm sure they've earned the right to borrow a little from their success.
And no - I don't work there.
Do you work there?

This is where I work http://web.mac.com/peteroseinc and I stand (impartially) by my comments
Borrow a little from their success......?....If I was a client I wouldnt like my Agency to use any of my identity just because they have 'earned' it
You're not fooling anyone, 'Peter Rose' is clearly a clever anagram of 'Propaganda'.

I give up - I've got some work to get on with.
