International drinks company Diageo has tasked three projects to Edinburgh-based Threebrand for brands Smirnoff, Bushmills Malt and Baileys.

With the aid of Threebrand, Diageo is set to launch a below-the-line and POS toolkit for Smirnoff Vodkasonic for use in global markets. The promotional pack includes MP3 speakers which will allow users to play music anywhere.

“Bearing Smirnoff’s core brand values in mind, we created new and exciting visual elements to convey the features of the pack and its usage, for both on and off trade impact. Producing DVD guidelines and artwork assets to support the product,” explained Nick Cadbury, creative director for Threebrand.

The agency has also been working with Bushmills 10-year-old-malt for its St Patrick’s Day activation for which it will create a distinctive and impactful BTL-and-POS poster campaign for one and off-trade within the UK.

Nick added: “We wanted to ensure our work on the Bushmills project was strong visually, balanced by a simple and direct call to action. We created two elements; using Baileys as a ‘partner to celebrate with’ and ‘offering a price advantage’ when buying Bushmills 10 Year Old Malt. Designing and producing posters and flyers - building on the tri-brand approach within Diageo for St Patrick’s, featuring Baileys, Bushmills and Guinness.”

The agency has also worked with the Global brand team to offer creative imput for Bailey’s gift range for the third consecutive year.

Threebrand is a member of the Marketing Industry Network.

Well done guys. And anonymous above - take a pill - we live in Marketingland, where many of our words are made up. Like it or not it's how languages evolve. Hope you like my use of hyphens.

The word 'impactful' has been in Global media agencies' presentations for at least 20 years. The Anon who finds it distasteful clearly hasn't worked anywhere proper.
