Black Horse Motor Finance is set to launch a new point of sale campaign having appointed Family to handle the creative development.

Working alongside Rufus Leonard, Family will develop posters, online and literature items for the motor, bike and caravan markets, having been appointed by Chris Rowley, senior marketing manager for the brand, who joined in September.

Rowley, who replaced Patrick Campbell, said: “The Black Horse brand occupies a strong position in the mind of our dealers and end consumers, and our new guidelines present us with the opportunity to leverage this in the current financial climate. The point of sale material which family has developed is modern, fresh and engaging, and clearly demonstrates our core personality and values."

He added that Black Horse had many new initiatives planned for 2010 and that he looked forward to working with family and the brand's other agencies in the future.

The campaign will roll out in March.

Rowley joined Black Horse from Scottish Widows last year, but has been working in the Lloyds Banking Group for seven years and previously worked with Family when it handled campaigns for Lloyds TSB Scotland.
