VisitScotland is currently working on the redevelopment of its corporate website, understood to be under development by Union Digital.

A spokesperson for the tourist body explained that it was still developing the site, although a soft launch saw it go live this week ahead of further developments being made.

Union Digital also recently created sites for VisitScotland’s White Winter campaign and its Home of Golf site last year.

This site has been created to go live ahead of Spring.

Meanwhile, following the launch of its £1.25m European touring campaign, VisitScotland has agreed to issue a cash reward for the return of one of its life-sized cardboard-cut-outs which has been stolen.

According to a report by press agency Deadline, the cardboard cut-out was stolen during the launch at  Prestonfield House Hotel in Edinburgh.

Police are now searching for two women  who were seen with the 6ft 3inch cut-out.
