The website for Nestlé Purina brand Go-Cat has gone live ahead of the brand’s nationwide search for ‘Britain’s most adventurous cat’.

The site has been designed by InboxDMG to support a campaign by Clarion Communications promoting the Go-Cat BOBO Awards.

Go-Cat has also released a TV ad, featuring cat Bobo as part of the campaign which will be supported by PR and press, to celebrate other ‘fearless felines’.

Through the site, users are invited to upload a photo or video alongside an explanation of why their cat is the most adventurous in the UK.

The gallery will be updated regularly with entries and will be judged by animal behaviourist Peter Neville.

The overall winner will receive an African safari holiday to see the big cats over there while three runners up will receive a voucher for two people to take part in a choice of 120 adventure experiences.

InboxDMG will also send a call for entries to Go-Cat’s existing email database for its new quarterly e-mail campaign for the brand, having recently been briefed by Go-Cat to maintain its position and drive sales through online and customer engagement.

The site is also designed to provide opportunities for consumers to engage in dialogue with the brand and allows Go-Cat to capture consumer data for its e-CRM programme - also being handled by InboxDMG.

Think I could win this. My cat "Max", was so adventurous. One day he went out for a walk, and just kept walking and never came back. Surprising really, we kept feeding him Go-Cat and in the end he got the hint. True story.

There's a 'fearless feline' lives in my street. Every couple of days it decides to have a cr*p in my garden, or if it's snowing on my doorstep...I hate cats.

I had a cat called Tigger too - he was the spitting image of Jones, the ship's cat in Aliens. Not that was a fearless feline.
