The redeveloped website for The People’s History Museum has gone live, following design and development work by Reading Room and True North.

The new-look site includes a wealth of photography which has been archived by the Manchester museum, telling the story of the British working class’s struggle for democracy and social justice.

True North was responsible for the People's History Museum brand while Reading Room oversaw the website redevelopment.

A party was held on Friday night at the museum, with a guest list of 650 people, to celebrate the relaunch of the museum which has undergone a £12.5m redevelopment.

The two agencies were appointed last Summer to oversee the site's redevelopment.
