RealtimeUK creates Samurai showcase

Lancashire-based production studio RealtimeUK has created a self-promotional film to show that "Hollywood-quality animation techniques" are readily available in the UK.

The 60-second promo shows a duel between two Samurai soldiers fighting and has so far chalked up more than 80,000 views online in five days.

Ian Jones, CG Director at RealtimeUK said: “From a cinematography point of view, this project was all about the beauty of the shots and creating exquisite imagery. We were trying to create something that was very attractive and aesthetic as well as being technically impressive.”

The film was made over a couple of months between paid projects and is intended to show that clients can use this technology for their marketing campaigns in the UK.
