RAR Awards set to recognise client satisfaction

RAR Awards set to recognise client satisfactionRAR Awards set to recognise client satisfaction

The Recommended Agency Register Awards will look to award agencies based on the level of their clients' satisfaction.

The event will be the first time marketing agencies will win awards based on feedback from their clients and will be another method that intermediary the Recommended Agency Register (RAR) will help brand owners and managers find the right marketing supplier for them.

The RAR provides advice to clients based on industry research in which brand managers rate their existing agencies across a number of criteria. Only the agencies which attain a number of high scores across the quality threshold can join the register of recommended suppliers.

Over the last 12 months, around 2000 ratings have been made by the RAR.

Now, the RAR awards have been created to recognise the companies which have been rated the most highly by their clients, based on those ratings.

Companies across separate marketing disciplines such as design, digital, events, advertising, media buying, direct marketing, print production,  which receive the highest ratings will each be recognised.

Also recognised will be companies which are rated highly for effectiveness, value for money, client service, strategic thinking, professionalism, and creativity.

Only Recommended Agencies can be considered for recognition at the awards through the RAR ratings process where their clients will be invited to submit their ratings.

This process is automated and clients can make ratings in less than two minutes.

Diane Young, director of RAR, explained: “We want to make sure that we highlight the best marketing suppliers to clients. Through RAR we already identify those suppliers whose clients emphatically recommend them to others.  Now the RAR Awards gives an opportunity to identify and reward the highest rated agencies.”

The deadline to be eligible for the awards is Friday 26 March 2010 with nominations being announced during the week commencing 29 March.

Final results will be announced at an award ceremony on Wednesday 21 April at the Russell Hotel in London.

link doesnt work ....it seems like we are constantly jumping through RAR hoops. You would think that the recommended agencies would have received notification prior to this article.

RAR on the face of it looks a good idea but it soon emerges as a blatant revenue machine... to soon in the journey I think.

I linked to the site to discover an upgrade was needed of £145 before we were eligible to enter despite having fantastic ratings. Another excuse for squeezing more money out of agencies...
