Tameside College to be daubed with mega poster
Advertising / England & Wales
Tameside College is to be plastered with a giant poster featuring the concept ‘The Pride of Tameside’ as the next step in its ongoing marketing campaign.
The poster will be placed onto the building next week and is the latest step in a campaign which launched last month across ad shells, bus backs, bus sides, local 48 and 6 sheets and online.
The creative has been developed by Tameside College’s in-house marketing team, headed by Valerie Dickinson. She has worked with designer Kenny Menneh and photographer Tracey Gibbs to create a campaign to celebrate the achievements of current and former students at the college.
Gibbs said: “For me it has been a great feeling been involved in the look and creative treatment from the initial stages through to delivery. Creating strong dynamic and subtle coloured images that would stand out big and on screen.
“To help make the sitters feel special I was keen to involve subtle grooming by using a make up artist, this gives the sitter and me time to get to know each other. Over the three days I met some truly inspiring young people and got to share, if only for a little while some of the pride so openly expressed by the Civic Mayor of Tameside.”
The campaign will run until May.
