High street jeweller Beaverbrooks has tasked Code Computerlove with handling an e-commerce project having appointed it as its digital marketing agency.

The Manchester agency has been tasked with designing the jeweller a new e-commerce site following a four-way pitch.

Beaverbrooks has over 65 retail stores across the UK and is looking for a new e-commerce platform to develop its internet sales platform.

Code has previously worked on retail sites for HMV, Hillarys and Matalan.

Andrew Davenport, managing director for Code, said: “We will translate the in-store experience and Beaverbrooks’ high standards of customer service in a creative and user friendly site, that can cater for customers buying a £50 bracelet to a £5000 watch.”

The new site is due to launch in September, in time for the Christmas sales period.
