Leeds Media has announced its new steering committee after carrying out an internal review of the service it offers its members.
The organisation, formed to represent media and marketing employees, wants to re-establish itself as the "focal point and voice" for the city's media scene.
To do this it is introducing monthly socials, sector-specific events, relevant training and an online resource centre.
The new committee is made up of: Gary McCall (Banana Kick), Nick Ramshaw (Thomson Brand Partners), John Morgan (Brahm), Richard Rawlins (Finn Communications), Phil Stott (Swamp), Louise Leach (Clearsilver), Alistair Wightman (AWA), Julie Stead Connor (intermarketing), Gillian Wallace (Leeds & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce), Mark Goldstone (Leeds & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce) and Leanne Buchan (Leeds City Council).
Chairman Gary McCall (pictured) said: "To reflect the changing needs of our members and the dynamic nature of our industry, we thought it was time to re-invent the steering committee. We have recruited from a wide range of specialist areas, with a bias towards PR and Digital, reflecting the communication needs of our membership."
"In what is an increasingly competitive and challenging marketplace, it is crucial to the city's continued economic stability that we retain and develop the talent we have in the region.
"The new Leeds Media will provide a wealth of opportunities for both professional and business development. The opportunity to meet and talk with members from across the media and marketing sectors is of real value and we are looking forward to getting more and more people involved with the organisation as time goes on."
