Sadly with the rise of procurement, the reason most clients 'buy into agencies in the first place' is whether or not they have an HSE policy. Creativity? Nah, not interested...
Not all of the most creative people in this business are in the 'creative department'.
Planning, media, management.
How about you broaden the search?
Isn't this what awards are for?
Best designer, best creative team, but no best copywriter? Right, ok. That'll be to stop them writing pithy comments about how f*cking dumb and short-sighted that is then.
You a copywriter? You spelt 'fucking' wrong?
You a designer? You didn't mean that as a question did you.
In the business but don't have jobs. How's that work then?
Ha. Funny comments. I'm really looking forward to the "Bestest, Popular, Coolest, most creative dude with the longest finger nails" 1-100 feature by The Drum..
What about, a who are the worst suits poll?
Or longest schlong?
Creative Directors can be Copywriters you know!
What about art directors / copywriters that don't work in teams? Should the last category not be creative team or individual?
This should be interesting. I can't think of one.
