Branding and design consultancy Silk Pearce has opened an office in Ireland which is to be run by creative director Gail Russell.

The office, in Lismore, near Dungarven, County Waterford, will offer a design-led approach and has been opened following Russell’s move to the country where her mother was born.

She has worked at the Colchester-based-consultancy since 1993 and has led design projects for clients such as Royal Mail, the Royal Mint and Britten Sinfonia.

Jack Pearce, co-founder of Silk Pearce explained that the company’s strategy is for Russell to continue to work for its UK and European clients while also becoming part of a business development team which will look to pick up work in that region.
