Dr. Martens has worked with Manchester agency Love on a new website to mark 50 years of the boot brand.

To celebrate its birthday Dr. Martens commissioned 10 artists to cover classic tracks and it was Love's job to showcase their videos on a new website.

The Manchester agency built a website which it says could be absorbed into Google, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Clipfish in Germany and Tudou in China.

It went live at the start of the month and has clocked up almost 4,000 fans on Facebook and 50,000 people have watched the videos on YouTube.

The site also features blogs from music journalists Nina Manandhar and Nendie Pinto-Duschinsky, best-selling authour Martin Roach and DM's product designers.

Yup ... love this - as a Dr Marten wearer for many years (in fact wearing my McMarten tartan ones today) it sits well, looks good and hits the mark.
