Rewired PR has picked up new contracts with Cadbury World and radio station BRMB.

The Birmingham PR and events consultancy has been appointed as the retained agency for Cadbury World and will be promoting the attraction during its 20th anniversary year. Rewired is already retained by Cadbury UK to promote its community programme and employee volunteering activity.

Birmingham-based BRMB has briefed the agency to support its 2010 Walkathon which will return in June after an 18-year break. The sponsored Walkathon aims to raise over £250,000 to help fund a military support facility at the new Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for injured troops returning from Afghanistan.

Ruth Ward, managing director of Rewired PR, said: "As a Birmingham agency we’re really pleased to be working with two great home-grown brands. Cadbury World is a fantastic venue and to be supporting the attraction during its 20th anniversary year is a real privilege.

“The eagerly anticipated return of the BRMB Walkathon has already got plenty of people talking and we’re looking forward to helping raise awareness for the event and the charity that it will be supporting.”
