Omega-3 supplement brand Equazen eye q will pose daily brainteasers for children and their parents in a new radio campaign that starts this week.
The ads, created by driven, will challenge families to think about a tricky question during the morning school run and give them the answer at home time.
The quizmaster is 70s children's TV star Derek Griffiths (pictured) who presented Play Away and Heads and Tales. His questions, which will change every day, include 'which part of the human body is the heaviest?'
Jane Wragg, head of marketing at Equazen owner Vifor Pharma, said: “The Daily Question is the first of several interactive ideas we’re developing with driven. Derek Griffiths is an inspired choice. He communicates fantastically well with children and is close to the hearts of many parents too.”
The campaign, which will run for five weeks, is driven's first work for Equazen since winning its account last December.
Driven partner Graham Drury said: "This is a fun and engaging way to stimulate young brains. It’s a totally fresh approach designed to really drive the category forward”.
Media buying is being handled by MEC Manchester and 422 was responsible for sound design.

Quite like this. But let's hope it doesn't distract the attention of the drivers of their Chelsea tractors too much. They need all their concentration focused on remembering to use their indicators.
Seriously though, a five week campaign is long enough for it to register and maybe create a following amongst listeners. Derek Griffiths is perfect for this too. He can get away with that sort of delivery of message.
Great! A really good choice of presenter tie up too.
I've met Derek a few times and he is an absolute gent - and a great theatrical talent to boot!
