Paddy Power TV campaign to run in build up to World Cup

Paddy Power’s new advertising campaign is set to launch on Wednesday, featuring two blind 5 A-side football teams.

The campaign, created by Big Al’s Creative Emporium, will break tomorrow in the run up to the World Cup being held in South Africa.

It is understood that a website ‘Nothing We Can Do About That’, will support the campaign which is set to launch in the next week.

The ad breaks as the brand's head of retail marketing, Andrew Barclay announces that he is to leave the bookmaker to join jewellery firm Pandora as UK marketing director.

Meanwhile, earlier today, Paddy Power unveiled its sin bin at St Etheldreda Church in Newmarket. The sin bin is part of a £10,000 sponsorship deal which allows the brand to use the confessional box to promote this weekend's Gineas Festival and the sin of gambling.

The confessional was opened by jockey Frankie Detorri who married his wife Catherine in the church in 1997.
