Billy Mawhinney talks about McCanns and BJL from Roses Ad Awards

At last week's Roses Advertising Awards former BJL creative boss Billy Mawhinney took time away from his duck breast dinner to talk to The Drum. Watch what he had to say about his time in Manchester.

First on camera was former BJL executive creative director Billy Mawhinney, who recently joined Dean Lovett's McCann Erickson Central in Birmingham, where he has been tasked with raising the creative reputation of one of the region's marketing giants.

Cameron managed to drag him away from his dinner to talk about his time with BJL, the creative team he is leaving behind and some thoughts on the job at hand with McCann Central.
