Glasgow design agency Randak has created the new brand for W&P Longreach, the specialist insurer to arts, sports and media companies and events.

Randak's brief was to create an identity that brought together two major players, Walton and Parkinson, whose clients include arts organisations, venues and producers and Longreach, which works in sports and entertainment.

Charles Randak, who led the project, said: "With a client base covering Cameron Mackintosh, The National Theatre of Scotland, London 2012 and the PGA European Tour we knew we needed to provide the client with an identity that reflected the cutting edge of the industry that they are involved in and yet balance the energy with the disciplines associated with insurance and risk management.

"Our design has been evolved with an eye very much to electronic media - from websites to event screens where our logo will have its own 'performance' through various animated sequences designed to underpin W&P Longreach's involvement in that particular sector - allowing us the opportunity of having a bit of fun with it!"

The new identity will be introduced this summer.
