In order to prepare for the next Premier League season, Bolton Wanderers Football Club has been working with the sports marketing team at Golley Slater Leeds on the launch of the team’s new home kit.

The launch was promoted through a campaign of teaser ads and was developed online and around football grounds and in Bolton until the launch of the shirt at the end of April.

Tim Orrell, managing director of Golley Slater Leeds explained: “The concept originated from us getting ‘to the heart’ of the campaign and the consequential posters revolved around this notion, getting to the centre of the game, the passion and the life of football was the inspiration for this work.”

Orrell added: “We know how important the home shirt is to fans, so we thought we’d give them a sneak preview which seems to have gone down well. We’ve received some really positive feedback since the launch and are now looking forward to continuing our work with Bolton Wonderers FC, supporting the exciting commercial developments they have in the pipeline.”

Shame the kit leaked a few weeks back and everyone who wants to see it has done already

Don't quote me on this but don't you think they made it 'look' leaked????

If they did, it was a bit pointless creating this campaign then wasn't it? Although I like the creative concept!

Yeah seems a bit stupid to let a leak go out but then run a 'teaser' campaign

Weak.
Stick an illustrator t-shirt graphic over the top of an X-ray shot and then slightly enlarge the emblem and drop it by 70% opacity - job done. Easy day, anyone up for a pint?

You can just imagine all the football fans reading the poster while on the way to the match thinking, what an awful typeface

Football fans are going to look at the poster, why wouldn't they? And you're calling them thick, oh dear...glass houses and all that.

It's Ok but it feels like it's all been done before. Many, many times.
