Following a competitive pitch, The Bridge has been appointed by Zero Waste Scotland and the Community Recycling Network for Scotland to create a campaign for an inaugural awareness day.

Pass it on Day on the 5 June will raise awareness and understanding of reuse.

The creative executions, running in press, online and promotional materials encourage reuse by asking people what they have to pass on, highlighting that everyone will have something that they no longer want or use - from bikes to bed and cookers to clothing - that could benefit others.

Calum Easton at The Bridge commented: “Many people are unaware of the wide range of items that can be passed on for reuse, and the many benefits of doing so. The aim of this campaign is to use the day to get people involved with reuse, and to help “pass it on” replace “throw it out” as the first response when we have unwanted items that are still in good condition.”
