TBWA\Manchester has picked up the £5m Seven Seas advertising account that was for so long the preserve of Leeds agency Principles.

TBWA picked up the business after a pitch and will now handle advertising for the Seven Seas Cod Liver Oil, JointCare, Haliborange and Multibionta brands.

The appointment is the culmination of a review process that started when Seven Seas moved its account out of Principles after 25 years. The review was part of a "global alignment strategy" by Seven Seas' parent company Merck.

I thought McCann's won Haliborange last year. Have they lost it already?
