A website is set to be launched this week to support new Channel M programme The Source, built by Blueleaf, which allow artists to apply to take part in the show.

The Source, a co-operative with support fromThe Co-Operative Group,  We7 and GMG, will promote unsigned artists, offering them the chance to win £10,000 and a record deal with The Co-Operative, which will see any profits split equally with the artist.

Profits from all voting revenue from the programme, including live event tickets and downloads will also be split equally with the artists, whether they win or not.

The website for the programme will go live this Thursday, allowing artists of any genre to enter, with the programme hitting the air on 13 September.
