The full ‘Bruzil’ campaign from soft drink brand Irn-Bru has now rolled out, created to tie in with this year’s World Cup, and solve the problems of the Scottish National Football team.
Created by The Leith Agency, the campaign promotes the idea of the Scottish and Brazilians "getting together" to breed a team capable of qualifying for the World Cup in 2034.
The four adverts will play on TV and online, with the final advert featuring the voice of former Everton and Scotland striker Andy Gray commentating ahead of the World Cup final in 2034, featuring Scotland.
The campaign kicked off at the end of May with Irn-Bru posting lonely hearts adverts and billboard posters promoting the idea throughout Brazil.

Complete with feeble and predictable 'beating the English' line. Yawn.
cool retro graphics, but worst campaign in irn bru's history.
Nice idea, poor writing.
I agree anon 13:34
Since the High School Musical spoof campaign, the work just doesn't do it for me.
Great campaign, really nice feel to it. I think the virals stand alone brilliantly. It's let down in a few places by some pretty stock and standard writing, but otherwise a fantastic job by the Leith.

Grand work from Leith; concept through to delivery the work is to the usual standard...
It can't be easy producing iconic campaign after iconic campaign for the same client when nothing much as changed (save a few E numbers) over the last 100 or so years...
Talk about raising the bar. This blows IRN-BRU's usual old school one off TV model right out the water. The Leith should be extremely proud of this. (and a little worried that they're going to have to better it next time). It's the kind of big thinking that's winning Droga5 D&ADs left right and centre. Unfortunately I agree that some of the questionable writing might be what stops this campaign short of World Glory. Don't want to end on a negative though. Overall, it's top top stuff.
Come on England on Sunday. Oh, and 14.38. You're having a tin bath son.
about what?
I really can't see why so many of you think it's so good, I don't think it's even average!
Can I buy a Mackaká or Aberdinho shirt on the website? Love it, surely just a bit of fun.
Why do so many people in Scottish agencies think everything that comes out of Irn Bru is great . This is really average and phenomenally unfunny.
A really nice idea, but some aspects of this campaign are chronic, namely the TV ad. Is it just me?
'Irn Bru', 'Bruzil' - never liked the whole colloquial thing or the sickly drink.
