Family-owned sausage company Porky Whites is celebrating its seventy-fifth anniversary with an online competition created by digital agency Mosaic Brighton.
'The Great Sausage Sizzle Off' is being promoted on 300,000 packets of sausages at supermarket retailers including Sainsbury’s, ASDA, Tesco, Morrisons and Waitrose.
Customers are directed to the competition microsite and are challenged to guess how long it takes to create the perfect barbecue sausage to stand a chance of winning a £500 barbecue kit.
Drew Griffiths, managing director of Mosaic Brighton, said: “The Porky Whites brand has a loyal online following on social networking sites. We’ll also be taking that enthusiasm for the product and turning it into traffic for the competition microsite, ultimately getting more fans of Porky Whites to put their names on the mailing list.”
