A game created for Channel 4 Education by Fish in a Bottle aims to re-enact the Battle of Britain as part of the broadcaster’s Bloody Foreigners season.

The online flash game, Battle of Britain: 303 Squadron recreates a single squadron of polish fighter pilots and gives users the chance to emulate their missions, during which they shot down 136 enemy planes.

Justin Eames, managing director of fish in a bottle explained; “We have used a combination of stunning archive and documentary footage, photography, 3D rendering and animation to put the player in charge of their own plane during missions-it really feels as though the player is there, flying with the squadron.

“Players can experience the highs and lows of being part of the RAF or join forces with friends online to play through a series of exciting missions from World War 11.”
