Dean Wilkinson, sales director of WiFi provider Airangel has been promoted to the role of managing director having doubled the company’s turnover to £1.4 million over the last 12 months.

The Warrington-based company, which specialises in branded wired and wireless gust internet access for hospitality and conference venues has reported an increase of 130 per cent in internet connections in the last year.

Dean Wilkinson said: “We’re part of a mobile age and the internet is a daily part of our lives, so much so that guest internet access is an essential component for many businesses, whether it’s allowing staff to hot desk or giving hotel guests access to online services.

“In the last year we’ve expanded our reach into new sectors and are continually helping clients to realise the full revenue, customer service and marketing benefits that WiFi systems can deliver.”
