Home improvement company Penikcuik is set to launch its first TV advertising campaign in eight years following a successful eight months for the business.
Craig Scott, managing director of Penicuik told The Drum that the campaign was part of a wider push to revive awareness of its brand.
“Back in its heyday, Penicuik’s TV adverts were distinctive and well-loved, and we are looking to emulate the success of our previous campaigns with the new one,” said Scott.
“The adverts are part of a £150k marketing campaign, which includes a fresh PR push to re-introduce the brand to Scottish media, lead by Manchester-based agency, Tangerine PR, and an advertising campaign with Real Radio, which started in January this year,” he continued.
The ad campaign will be produced by SYV and is set to launch next month until the end of September and will aim to broaden the company’s reach across central and eastern Scotland.
The adverts will be aired in a variety of slots; off peak, daytime, in order to reach the female target audience which traditionally begin the purchasing process for home improvements, through to peak slots in order to reach busy male and female professionals.
“Broadcasting our first TV advertisement since 2002 is an exciting prospect, and we hope it will entertain our existing customers, as well as introduce lots of new ones to the Penicuik brand,” concluded Penicuik.
