McCann Erickson PR in Solihul has recently been promoting the official England Three Lions Salad, licensed by the FA to tie in with the nation’s team during the World Cup.

The product deal was brokered between licensing agency CPLG Sport and produce company Soléco, which tasked McCann Erickson PR to leverage the milk mix of bagged salad leaves and drive listings and its trade profile.

Elaine Smith, marketing manager for Florette UK, said: “As a produce category first, our Three Lions Salad was extremely positively received by retailers and consumers alike and the coverage McCann Erickson secured successfully supported this. Just under one million bags of salad have been sold.”

Chris Arthur, managing director of McCann Erickson PR, said: “Being involved in such a high-profile licensing deal was a real privilege for us here at McCann. While we sadly cannot say the same for the England team, the success of the Three Lions Salad has been a real highlight of the summer so far.”
