Casio has worked with Sheffield agency Uber on the advertising campaign for its new make-up themed camera.

The Exilim 'Make-up Mode' camera comes with features to smooth the appearance of skin and soften facial shadows within the click of a button.

So Uber's campaign promotes the camera as offering a 'millisecond makeover' and will run across press and online. The campaign is aimed at 16-24 years olds and will run until September. Uber was also briefed to create a microsite. Casio's marketing communications manager Sarah Salter said the ads set "exactly the right tone of voice for the product". Uber has handled several campaigns for Casio, including a watch product tie-in with the Avatar film, following its appointment by the electronics company last November.

Been critical of some of the advertising Uber has put out over the last year. This is a dream brief and this time they've made the most of it.

Brave decision by the client too (although not quite brave enough to run without the before and after photos).
