Following a five-way-pitch, regional arts organisation Arts and Theatres Trust Fife has commissioned The Zen Agency to develop a back end systems for its yet-to-be-developed new online presence.

The organisation will use the system to run its new website, with The Zen Agency appointed to develop a content managed system that will act as the main compontent for the site, set to launch later this year as AttFife aims to build an online community around its creative work and venues.

The CMS being developed will replace the previous system which was put in place while the organisation was still a part of Fife Council.

The site will also sell tickets online, as well as be used as a social media hub and be used as part of its creative development remit.

Taras Young, communications and digital media officer at AttFife, said:  “The arts sector can’t afford to be left behind when it comes to new technology, and we are already stepping up our online presence through social media such as Facebook and Twitter. Our vision is for a great website to be at the centre of what we do online, and we’re all looking forward to working with Zen to build a system that’s a stable base for our ambitious future plans.”
