BJL seeks senior creative team to replace Marcus Leigh

BJL seeks senior creative team to replace Marcus LeighBJL seeks senior creative team to replace Marcus Leigh

Manchester marketing agency BJL is seeking a senior creative team as it looks to fill the void left by the resignation of creative group head, Marcus Leigh.

Leigh, who is also a board member, is set to relocate to the north east of England to pursue a freelance career and expects to continue to work alongside BJL, where he has spend the last 15 year, in the future.

Leigh has also worked at J.Walter Thomson, Broughton Jacques and Robson Brown.

Nicky Unsworth, managing director of BJL explained that the departure of Leigh meant that the agency was now set to begin the process of recruiting a senior creative team to join and work under creative directors Pete Bastiman and Tom Richards.

Poor Marcus.
He has his big leaving story and it gets hijacked.
He deserves better.
Go and slag off TBWA somewhere else.

It's like Fawcett kicking the bucket on the same day as Wacko Jacko. Bad timing.

Anyway, Marcus gave me a helping hand (oo-er) when I was on the placement rounds. Good guy. Good luck to him.

I've been working in Manchester for donkeys' years and you are probably one of the very few people that NOBODY has a bad word for.

One of the good guys, who'll be missed.
