Birmingham agency Seal says it will take its time to replace creative director Phil Birchall, who has left to start his own agency.
Birchall (pictured) quit the marketing, design and PR company to form GRIN, his own agency based in Stourbridge, West Midlands.
He has so far remained tight-lipped about his new venture but a holding page announcing its arrival has been set up online.
Seal chief executive Katie Morris said the agency will not be hurried into finding Birchall's successor.
She told The Drum: “We have a talented creative team within the agency consistently producing high quality work. That gives us the confidence that we don’t need to rush to make an immediate appointment, rather take our time and give our existing talent the opportunity to shine.”

One of the best portrait pictures i've seen in a long time.
Agree, class shot.

He looks very wacky. I want to work for him just on the basis of that picture.
I'd want him to work for me on the basis of that picture, must be very creative indeed
meow.
Phil is a top bloke though, good luck! And yes, it does look as though they'll go down the PR route fully as I doubt Aston Villa are spending much on marketing - or players - at the moment.
A nice picture of Uncle Bad Touch...

Is it Spec Savers or Specs Avers?
Don't know the guy, but the pose reminds me of Colin Hunt from the Fast Show.
Phil was Seal.
