An iPhone app for this year’s MOBO Awards, taking placed in Liverpool in October, is being developed by Tokyo Digital.
The app will be the first to be developed for MOBO and will contain featured artists as well as news, announcements, multimedia, promotional codes and information on local attractions and amenities.
Aaron Bimpson, director of Tokyo Digital director, commented: “This is a significant win for Tokyo. We have spent considerable time establishing our London presence and bringing on board a respected music brand such as MOBO at a time when they have chosen Liverpool to host their main ceremony seems the perfect fit.”
Online marketing agency Tokyo Digital , which has offices in Liverpool and London, was launched this month by Switch Media, as the company split its hosting and web design divisions into separate brands.
The app is expected to roll out in September.
