The man under the helmet of Top Gear’s uber driver, The Stig has been revealed after the BBC lost a case at the High Court to block a book which would publish his identity.

The BBC was looking to block the identity of the master driver on the BBC2 series, who’s identity has been a mystery to viewers for several years.

The name of the man is…

F3 racing driver Ben Collins has been named as The Stig. He was linked to the role earlier this month when a national newspaper obtained documents which linked the programme to a company owned by Collins.

Who apart from ageing oaf Jeremy Clarkson really gives a flying f**k. Although I must admit when the dolt in denims utters, 'Some say he drinks oil for breakfast and that his heart was forged in Mordor...but we know him as Ben Collins'. Just doesn't have the same ring to it.
