Kids' clothes brand Vertbaudet launches TV ad with Principles

Principles Agency in Leeds has created the first UK TV ad for Vertbaudet, the children's clothing brand. Watch it here.

Principles has previously created seasonal direct marketing campaigns for Vertbaudet, but won a competitive pitch "against London and European agencies" to produce its UK TV debut.

Michelle Ramirez, marketing manager at Vertbaudet-owner Redcats, said: "This highly inspirational ad captures the essence of the brand and its unique qualities and characteristics. It portrays what our customers ultimately want; exclusive, quality children’s clothing.”

The 30-second ad will be on air during September on channels including ITV2, Fiver, Living, Disney XD, Tiny Pop and Nick Junior.

Helen North, account director at Principles Agency, said: “The ad delivers the concept of children being children, rather than mini-me’s. It reminds us of how it feels to be young, depicting a sense of freedom, fun and, above all, innocence. The French voiceover represents the brand’s French heritage, style and design credentials of Vertbaudet’s clothes.”

"Highly inspirational ad"- Don't think so. Highly disappointing.
