Circuit Break founder Gordon Brown will reveal 59 Minutes, his second crime thriller later this month following the successful debut of his first novel, Falling.

Entitled 59 Minutes, the new book is being published by Fledgling Press and tells the story of a Glasgow-based petty criminal who progresses through the ranks to become a major player in the international underworld.

The book comes around a year after Brown had his debut novel, Falling, published also by Fledgling Press, which proved a good seller with a re-print being required.

Brown is to hold an official book launch at Waterstone's in Glasgow later in September and he is already in talks with a literary agent about a third and fourth book.
