BBC News gaffe in identifying anti-muslim Pastor

The BBC last night made a slight gaffe during its news piece reporting on Florida pastor Terry Jones’ intention to burn hundreds of copies of the Koran this weekend.

Jones has been condemned for his plan, as Americans fear further uprising against their troops and a deepening of mistrust of the US internationally.

During the BBC news piece, a caption appeared with the intention of naming the Pastor, only instead the name Mohamed Rifaah from Al Azhur University appeared.

Maybe it’s his holiday name, or the one he intends to adopt once he’s finished the book burning.
