VOICE marketing set to create 500 jobs for Sheffield

Sheffield telemarketing company VOICE marketing is set to create 500 new jobs having opened a new site within the city.

Following the renovation and upgrade of its 25,000 sq ft office space at The Mount in the Broomhill are of Sheffield, following an £850,000 investment.

Initially around 125 jobs will be created, with another 375 added by the end of 2011.

The company, currently based in Woodseats, has around 270 members of staff.

James Hinchliffe, managing director of VOICE, said: “This is a significant development, not just for VOICE, but also for the local economy. From our projected turnover for the year, we will be investing approximately £4 million back into the region through employment.

“This figure will continue to rise during the coming months as we hope to have around 750 people working for VOICE from both sites during 2011.

“The new facilities at The Mount will provide us with the means to expand existing contracts for national brands such as Npower, E.ON and Swinton, together with a number of new contracts. These are very exciting times for VOICE and Sheffield as we continue our aim to become the number one contact centre in the UK.”

The company is also set to expand its B2B division and develop a new multilingual department.
