The Scarlets sign sponsorship deals with Molson Coors and Princes Gate

Molson Coors has signed a three-year sponsorship deal with The Scarlets regional rugby team, which will see the brewer’s brand displayed on the team shirts.

The deal will include exclusive pouring rights for Molson Coors at the team’s 15,000 capacity ground, Parc Y Scarlets.

 Rupert Moon, commercial director for The Scarlets, said: “Molson Coors is a market leader and we are delighted to be working with a brewer that shares our values and has such a strong connection with rugby supporters and rugby clubs within our region."

A deal has also been signed between the side and mineral water maker, Princes Gate which will also see its brand appear on the team’s shirts.

Nicola Merriman, marketing manager at Princes Gate, commented: “We have come a long way since we began life on a small organic farm in Pembrokeshire but we are true to our roots and want to support and work in partnership with like-minded sustainable companies for the good of this area.”
