The website for British movie SoulBoy has been completed by OrangeBus.

The film, starring Martin Compson and directed by Shimmy Marcus, was released in the middle of this month to favourable reviews, with the website featuring trailers and interviews with the cast, writer and director.

Biographies of the cast and crew are also available alongside an introduction to the soundtrack my Marcus and an online store where SoulBoy merchandise can be purchased.

The website, alongside the social media activity on Facebook and Twitter, has been used to grow awareness and word-of-mouth of the movie, which opened in seven cinema, but was playing at 13 sites upon its fourth week of release.
Screening date updates are also continuously being added, and then relayed through the social media stream and mailing lists.

The Facebook page has nearly 2,000 followers while the official Twitter feed is being followed by nearly 500.

Julian Leyton, managing director of OrangeBus, told The Drum; “We've never been involved in a film at this level before and it's been great fun to say the least, but the results are the most important thing and we're delighted with how things have gone so far.  We haven't finished yet though, the merchandise push will continue, we'll support the International roll out and we're looking at ways to distribute the film online early next year.”
