Fuse8 develops Bug Blaster app for Meningitis Research Foundation
A free-to-download iPhone app for Meningitis Awareness Week has been developed by the Meningitis Research Foundation.
The foundation tasked Fuse8 with the creation of the app which features Bug Blast, a 3D shooter game, alongside information to help recognise the early symptoms and vital information on meningitis and septicaemia.
A symptom checker feature has also been developed to test these early signs.
The app also includes details about the users nearest Accident and Emergency unit, a news feed on the subject and a selection of fund raising challenges from the organisation.
Social media feeds to post the users score on Twitter and Facebook from Bug Blast have also been added.
The app launched last week and is available to download through iTunes.
