Manchester Science Festival looks to Smoking Gun for campaignManchester Science Festival looks to Smoking Gun for campaign

The promotion of the third Manchester Science Festival is set to be handled by Smoking Gun.

The festival, which takes place between 23-31 October, will see over 150 individual science events held across Greater Manchester and will this year celebrate biodiversity as part of the United National Official International Year of Biodiversity.

Following a three-way-pitch, Smoking Gun has been tasked with developing a promotional campaign which will drive footfall to the events, as well as the Festival’s launch event, and build its social media presence too.

Hello,

I've asked the Festival team on your behalf and been told:

"The original design concept was around the Big Bang, which blasted time and space into existence 14 billion years ago. However now the flash means many things to different people – it could represent a chemical explosion, a flower or a star."

Hope that helps!
