EasyJet has appointed Paul Moore, previously communications and public affairs director at FirstGroup, as its new communications director.

Moore, a former director of corporate affairs at Virgin Atlantic Airways, will join EasyJet on 1 November.

He will sit on the airline's management board, manage its media relations across Europe and look after its public affairs and CSR activities.

"I'm thrilled to be joining EasyJet," Moore said. "I've always admired the company and what the brand stands for."
