Scottish Government rolls out seasonal flu campaign

The season flu campaign for The Scottish Government is currently on release, creative by The Leith Agency.

The campaign aims to encourage Scots to protect themselves and their loved ones by getting the seasonal flu jab.

For the first time the campaign will also target pregnant women and will involve a drive to highlight the fact that unpaid carers are also eligible for vaccination.

Public information leaflets about the seasonal flu campaign will be available and distributed to GP surgeries, pharmacies, health boards and voluntary health organisations, while a TV campaign, which launched 11 October, will run for four weeks, alongside a radio advert.

The online campaign will also direct people to the Health Scotland Immunisation Scotland website.

The illustrator for the campaign was Rhumbaba with Consolidated handling the PR.

Nice animation and good to see another message being put out there instead of the 'old if you are over 65 you're doomed.'
